Our basic fundamentals

  • Word On Wheels® is not a secular group, club, gang, organisation or society - it's a non-denominational Christian Street Ministry.  No M/C  designation may be worn with the W.O.W.™ patch.
  • We do not wear the M/M or C/C designation neither with our patch since we are not categorizing ourselves as strictly a motorcycle ministry.  We have members who do not own or ride a motorcycle, therefore we are simply an outreach ministry.
  • We preach and teach the gospel;  we don't claim territories, turf, or holds and then try to defend them.  The world is our work-field.
  • W.O.W.™ never excludes anyone based on what type of motorcycle they ride, or because they don't ride.  We are not a "Harleys only" or a "Cruisers only" club.  We are a "street ministry".  Jesus sometimes rode a donkey, yes, but most of the time He walked everywhere He went.  He did not preach that a believer could not follow Him because they didn't own a donkey, mule or cart... ALL believers were welcome!
  • W.O.W.™ never judges or condemns anyone, lest we be judged ourselves (Luke 6:37).  We are taught to speak out against sin, but to love the sinner.  We do, however, act according to Matthew 18:15-17 - If a member is continuously sinning and refuses to stop, the chapter president has the responsibility to remove that member's privileges and/or have the member relinquish his/her patch and membership.
  • W.O.W.™ never competes with any club, group, organization, association, ministry or church.  We offer to work in conjunction with other worthwhile causes, not limited to ministry.  We believe that all our endeavours represent our ministry.  We believe that visibility during community deeds is a great way to help the growth of our ministry and spread the Word of God.
  • MARRIAGE AND CHILDREN are important to God, and to us.  The Biblical teaching of marriage is:  One man and One woman.  We do not believe in  "common-law", "live-in" or  "partner" relationships.  We do not condone any homosexual behaviors.  Children deserve Godly parents to teach them in the way they should go.
  • We believe we should hate all sin but love the sinner, as set forth in the Holy Scriptures.
  • People of all ages, race, ethnicities, gender and nationalities are welcome to become members.  We do not discriminate.
  • While it isn't a pre-requisite for members to have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, it is required they believe it is available today to all who stand in salvation through Jesus Christ, the Lord our Savior.
  • The main purpose of  Word On Wheels® is to provide Christians an outlet for fellowship and ministry to one another and anyone we encounter in God's vast back yard.
  • Motorcycle ownership is not, and never will be, a pre-requisite or requirement for membership to Word On Wheels®.  Some organizations require it but we don't!  We will not allow ownership, or lack of ownership, of any physical possession to define our membership.
  • Personal agendas and cult-like practices will never be tolerated by any member or the ministries world-wide.  We will adhere to the teachings of the Bible and nothing else.
  • We believe that the Holy Bible is God's final revelation and constitutes our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
  • We confess that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
  • Word On Wheels® encourages and supports members and chapters of the ministries to effectively develop the means to present the gospel of Christ to ALL people, including motorcyclists, around the world.
  • W.O.W.™  encourages ALL Christians to effectively present the gospel of Christ.
  • W.O.W.™  requires all members to show the compassion of Christ and follow His doctrine as set forth in the Holy Scriptures.
  • W.O.W.™  expects its members to walk together in brotherly love, encouraging, counseling and admonishing one another and sharing one another's joys and endeavoring to bear one another's burdens and sorrows.
