TERMS OF AGREEMENT
Memberships:
1. Full Membership - The initial one-time fee of a full membership registration is $155.00 which covers your application processing and member supplies such as patches, ID's, etc. When applying for a full membership, you agree to a reccurring monthly charge of 18.00 on your credit card that was supplied at the time of your registration for full membership. These recurring fees are your monthly dues. These monthly dues cover the membership cycle begining on the first day and ending on the last day of every month. This may not necessarily coincide with your billing cycle. Your billing cycle will commence on the day you purchased your membership, covering the entire month in which you purchased said membership, and you will be billed according to your credit card agreement with the issuer of said credit card. After a year, these dues will continue to incur and appear on your credit card statement until your have forwarded your written request to Word On Wheels®, stating your wish to cancel the membership. Once we have received your written cancellation request, we will remove your name from the membership roster, and you will no longer be billed. This process can take up to and including thirty days to take effect. The initial membership registration fees are non-refundable and will not be pro-rated. If you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle, you will be billed for the entire cycle of your monthly membership dues, whether you are removed from membership at any time during that cycle. When your membership is cancelled and removed from the roster, you will not be able to access the "members only" pages of the website but you will continue to enjoy access to all other "public access" pages.
2. Casual Membership - Casual memberships are charged a $85.00 registration fee upon activation. Casual memberships will incur an $10.00 monthly charge for their dues on their credit card used at the time of purchase. The one-time registration fee of $85.00 is for the processing of their application and their casual member supplies. If the casual member chooses to continue his/her membership after the first year, they must register again for another year. A re-enrollment form will be included in their registration package. This is not a full membership, therefore casual members do not wear the full patch. They will receive a "casual member" patch (9" center logo design only). This will signify that they are thinking about becoming full members and are participating in the activities of the ministry and its events, but they do not participate in chapter meetings or issues. (Casual members do not vote.) They are only supporters of a local chapter and/or of the "outreach" ministries.
3. All Memberships: If you cancel your membership, you will not be able to access the "members only" pages of the website but you will continue to enjoy access to all other "public access" pages.
4. Membership Materials and Supplies: All membership items supplied in the registration package are copyrighted. Duplication, copying or reproduction of any kind is not permitted. Any such infringement shall be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law. (Chapters wishing to reproduce Corporate supplied letters, books, newsletters, etc., must first obtain written permission from the Word On Wheels® Headquarters prior to doing so.) Individual chapters may not reproduce any patches.
Promotional Items:
Duplication, copying or reproduction of any kind is not permitted. Any such infringement shall be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law. (Chapters wishing to reproduce Corporate supplied letters, books, newsletters, etc., must first obtain written permission from the Word On Wheels® Headquarters prior to doing so.)
If any item is defective, it may be returned for an exchange of the same item within fifteen days of receipt. A description of the defect must be written and included with the return. Without a return of the original purchased item or supply, an exchange cannot be processed.
REGISTRATION FEES AND MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON "PRO-RATA". MEMBERSHIPS MAY BE CANCELLED AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR. FULL MEMBERSHIPS ARE BOUND BY THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF W.Word On Wheels® AND THE MEMBER'S LOCAL CHAPTER, AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ENCLOSED IN YOUR MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE.
